CONSIGNMENTS OVERVIEW

Consignments are a good way to liquidate unwanted or unneeded firearms from your home, make some extra room in your safe or simply to generate some capital to purchase that new firearm.

OnPoint accepts all types of firearms* to sell under its consignment program. Firearms need to be in working order though exceptions will be made for historic firearms on a case by case basis.

How to Begin Consignment

Consignment starts with making an appointment where your firearm is inspected and valued for sale. Once accepted into our inventory, your firearm is displayed and marketed to obtain you a fair market value for the firearm(s) as quickly as possible. Please review our consignment agreement prior to your appointment. You can download this agreement here:

OnPoint Consignment Agreement

The first step to sell a firearm at OnPoint is to book appointment with us. Appointments can be made online at our website (EZ Facility link) Monday to Friday 10:00 to 5:00. Last appointment at 4:30.

At the appointment, the OnPoint representative will inspect and fire the firearm. You will need to provide one magazine or cylinder of ammunition for use in test firing. An initial selling price will be determined in conjunction with you at this appointment. This selling price is not an appraisal. Appraisals are a separate purchasable service. The consignment agreement is signed at this time with a copy being given to you. The firearm will then be surface cleaned, checked into inventory and assigned a unique identifier number.

If you have any accessories, magazines, cases etc. that you want to include with the sale will then be inventoried, bagged and sealed at this point.

We will then display your firearm for sale subject to the terms outlined in the Consignor Agreement.

Once your firearm sells we will issue you a check for the balance after our fees in approximately seven days after the sale is complete.

*OnPoint reserves the right to not accept any firearm for consignment.
